Our Frontier rib cuff wool beanies are made from our premium 100% Mountain Merino® wool. These hats are soft and warm. In comparison to our ribbed cuff beanie the Frontier is more dense providing additional wind resistance and warmth. Our wool beanies have a 1 1/2 inch cuff and lay snug around the head, trapping in warmth. Mountain Meadow Wool beanies keep you warm while allowing the top of your head to breathe and release moisture.
We directly oversee the process from working with the best sheep ranches in Wyoming to processing and spinning the yarn to operating our own in-house knitting. So we can bring you the highest quality beanie.

Our intention behind the Frontier Rib Cuff Beanie is a beanie that will provide wind resistance when the snow is blowing. We classify this as our mid-weight headwear balancing warmth with weight. This beanie is 20% heavier than our light-weight Cloud Peak ribbed cuff beanie.
The greater wind resistance is achieved by utilizing a heavier yarn and a tighter knitting tension creating a denser fabric.
Our 20.5 micron Mountain Merino® wool provides the ultimate in soft wool and the ribbed knit structure provides plenty of air pockets within the fabric for retaining warmth.
